Knowledge management has increased its importance during the last years. It is crucial to transfer knowledge to newcomers at the radioactive waste management sector, students and young generations. Games are an excellent tool to engage them to learn more on concepts related with PREDIS.
The project:
PREDIS (Pre-disposal management of radioactive wastes) – 2021-2024 – Funding received from the Euratom research and training programme 2019-2020 under grant agreement No 945098.
The PREDIS project targets the development and implementation of activities for pre-disposal treatment of radioactive waste streams other than nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste. The PREDIS project develops and increases the Technological Readiness Level of treatment and conditioning methodologies for wastes for which no adequate or industrially mature solutions are currently available, including metallic materials, liquid organic waste and solid organic waste. PREDIS project also develops innovations in cemented waste handling and pre-disposal storage by testing and evaluating.
